Title： Global Infectious Disease: Triumphs and Challenges
Prof. Charles M. Rice is a world-renowned virologist and the recipient of the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of the Hepatitis C virus and the development of a research system that enabled critical advances in understanding the virus. His groundbreaking work has significantly advanced antiviral drug development and contributed greatly to global infectious disease research and public health.
In this special lecture, Prof. Rice will share key achievements and current challenges in global infectious disease research. This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from a Nobel Laureate. Faculty members and students are warmly invited to attend and gain valuable insights from his distinguished academic experience.
